What inspired you to launch your own website?

The need to expand my mother's swimwear business into the internet market.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

About a year ago I launched a brochure-style website for my father's real estate business. The URL is http://www.ramonestate.com

How did you decide on a name for your website?

It is the name of my mom's swimwear business.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

Our prices are as low as $15 for a bikini top.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To provide another source of revenue for my mom's swimwear business.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Due to my limit on both, I try to make my time and money give off success as effectively as possible.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Add user reviews, forums, and other kudos. However, I will be adding these features later on.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes, we have stock available.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None, I am always a few steps ahead and know where my money is exactly going.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Creating my own shopping cart code.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Do not have accurate results yet as of now.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It hasn't, as I've said, I already know what to expect.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

The site has been up and running for a week now. In the worst case scenario, I would still keep this website up and running to show off as part of my portfolio
