I also agree that wearing a burqa in public should be a matter of fashion freedom. A Muslim lady should have a choice of whether to wear this black veil clothing when she goes around France. But that's only as far as France is concerned.
I believe that one's sense of fashion does not define his character and values, which means that not all Muslim ladies who wear this burqa follow the Islam teachings.
We should uphold fashion freedom all over the world. What the fashion police should look out for are those who wear counterfeit items instead of the original ones because this practice destroys the original fashion market.
