No Killing over a Pen, Please

I read an article about how to clean up after an "exploding pen".

Well, I don't know where this person lives or what sort of washers they have, but I have never heard of any pen exploding in a washer or dryer.

There have been instances of pens leaking, and again, perhaps some pens do seem to explode when they have simply been leaking due to the amount of water or heat directed at them.

Whatever the cause of the pen stains on newly washed clothes, the author does give a couple good tips to clean the stains out, such as using nail polish remover and rubbing alcohol, though I would not recommend the last tip to "kill" the person who left the pen in the laundry.
