I believe that wearing the right type of clothes for your work environment is very important.

Especially, it seems, for women.

Women are under a higher clothing standard than men, simply because there are more options available to women, and perhaps more opportunity to stray into something which is inappropriate.

Some talk of never wearing flip flops, strapless shirts or dresses, or tank tops, and that may all be good counsel, especially if you work in an office.

Perhaps another piece of advice for what you should wear on Casual Friday is to look at what those in positions of power in your workplace are wearing and emulate that.
