If there's one celebrity in 2009 that really hit stardom partly because of her wardrobe, then that would not be anyone else but Lady Gaga. I don't know. She never fails to surprise and horrify people with the clothes she wear everytime she comes out in public.
Her wardrobe's like one big costume box. Most noticable about Lady Gaga's wardrobe are the thick-high boots and the weirdest masks and hats--plus the fact that she seems to have this liking for not wearing any pants at all. Only Lady Gaga can go out there and only wear her very short shorts or underpants while doing that music video. When everyone else goes out as her last Halloween, you know very well that this is one new fashion icon.
She reinforces this image with her latest music video, Ugly Romance. There are at least 5 costume sets especially created for that piece of video, each of which is trying to unseat each other as the weirdest outfit there. There's this entire-white catsuit that covers even her face, a green sparkling catsuit that includes a very high green stilettos, and a red costume that seems to only cover her nipples. Personally I'd go for that relatively simple attire she wore for the close-up scenes. That one with the snake tiara. She looked stunningly fresh in those shots. But that was probably the make up.
By the way, she is also planning to make her own clothing line. That just makes sense. If everybody is trying to copy you, then why don't you make some money out of them? I just don't know if everybody will wear the clothes she design everyday. If her present attires are any indicator, I don't think people will. For Halloween, maybe.
Even from the beginning, she already wanted to be a fashion designer, so I won't be surprised if she does push through with it. Let's see if she can still surprise us with her collection. I'm sure her fans will love it.
