Please give us a short summary of your website?

ScrubsMax is a website that is dedicated to selling Medical Scrubs Online. We feel we have the best prices on the Internet and essentially that was our goal, to provide the consumer with a big selection of scrubs at very good prices.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

We felt that we could provide the consumer with a better buying experience than what they were use to in the medical scrubs industry.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

We launched the site in August of 2009

How did you decide on a name for your website?

We bought the business from the orginal owner and she had built up a lot of equity in the name

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

We offer better prices than the competition

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Our goal is to grow the business as large as possible. The larger our business becomes the better prices we can offer on the Internet

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

At first it was difficult, but know since we have launched it has become easier

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

We would probably expand into other sales verticals. If people recognize us as the low price website for scrubs, maybe they will notice our expertise elsewhere.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Absolutely! We built this business so we could scale easily

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

merchandising and out of stock items. Our major manufacturer that supplies us with product has some data issues and we are still trying to work with them on a solution

What has been your biggest challenge?

Data maintenance with our manufacturer. Apparently they dont feel the need to supply the retailer the most accurate data

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

word-of-mouth

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

nope. We are growing as expected

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

We launched in August of 2009 and we plan on keeping it live for many years to come.

Why did we want to be the low price leader in Medical Scrubs?

We felt that the bigger companies were soaking up a huge amount of profit for such a simple piece of clothing and felt like we could get a lot of attention by offering the lowest prices on the web.
