In the past, nobody wants to be called a Geek because of the unfavorable treatment that many so-called Geek receive especially from bullies. Usually, somebody who wears eyeglasses are stereotyped as Geeks.
Today, however, you can never really tell who is a geek just by his looks. A geek can look as cool as the boy next door. A geek these days usually possess all the geeky gadgets and tend to really act like one.
