What inspired you to launch your own website?
Popular demand from people who had tried my products!
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
This is my first website, launched almost two years ago
How did you decide on a name for your website?
FaB as in my name initials (Fatima Brito) and also FABULOUS, as in… fabulous looking!
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
The FaB Models are knitted individually to suit your temperament and your needs, playing with a wide range of delicious colours and stunning patterns, chosen by you.
What is your eventual goal?
See lots of dancers wearing my products. A dream already coming true!
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Photography. Not as good as I want and my products deserve!
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Hmmmm. At the moment it is just me producing plus my slave (husband)
What has been your biggest challenge?
Limiting an unlimited product so that I can present it directly on the web.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
A mixture of word of mouth and hard slog on back links.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
More work actually running it than I thought!
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
About two years now. Whilst I can sell then I will keep it going
How do you see your business in 5 years from now?
Impossible to say, but already it has changed so much that I imagine an even bigger client base by then
