As always, it was a lazy Sunday the other day when I thought that I should probably go along and proceed to the mall and take a break from the rest of the world. I don't always have the opportunity to go out alone, so that would have been a perfect day for it.
But then laziness crept over me and I thought that it would have been probably better to just stay at home and sleep. I only get to stay at home every Sunday, so going out means I'm already out of our place every day of the week, something that I wouldn't like to do since I was also out of the house last Sunday.
Anyway, what really got my attention was this announcement of a friend saying that there's very big sale over at the local Topman store. Same case with Topshop and Dorothy Perkins. I found out that these shops are offering a Buy 1 Take 1 end-of-season sale!
If you know me very well, you would know that I am not really particular about any brand when it comes to clothing or other similar goods. It is my policy that as long as something is decent-looking and not a fake, I can wear it. But then, this is one of those extraordinary sales that come only once every season. Since I'm far from being wealthy, I could only buy new clothese during these sales.
Sadly, the same friend also told me that he had hardly found any item that is his size. Apparently, because it's a weekend, and it's the time of the month when workers are given their monthly wages, they proceeded immediately to the mall and grabbed at some of the items. It is as if there's no economic crisis at all!
Oh well. That leaves me with no choice but to wait for another season until the clothes go on sale again. You can't expect me to buy there at full price.
