I own an online clothing store and our blog is related to store items and fashion questions, happenings in general.

Help women understand their personal style and provide an outlet for affordable fashion and style advice.

blogger - was easy to set up and I have a google account.

1. Blog at least twice per week 2. Don't steal ideas from other bloggers 3. Join a blogging community. 4. Keep it simple with the graphics and color 5. Give a shout out to those that inspire or help you

Did you start blogging for the purpose of making money and if so, are you making enough money?
did it for the customers and extra traffic and search ranking - so I guess the answer is yes because I want women to come to the store. On the flip side, I do it because I enjoy it and feel I have something useful to say.

What mistakes have you made that you could warn others about?
Can't think of anything too bad although I wish I would have started marketing my site as soon as it was released. I should have been looking for affiliates and resources 6 months ago instead of relying on them to fall in my lap. Several did fall in my lap, but it took a while and I would be much better off had I focused on web relationships from the start.
