Finding a bra that fits perfectly is a fundamental problem faced by many online shoppers. There are plenty of websites that will sell you a pretty bra but it is very difficult to get the fit just right when buying online. At http://www.BraMeasurement.co.uk we've gathered together some basic bra measurement and bra fitting suggestions together on this site. The bra measurement advice and bust size tips have been picked up over the years. We also offer the Bra Measuring Tape for accurate bra size measurement at home.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
The difficulties of getting a bra that fits online. Added to the fact that after having children, none of my bras fitted properly! Your bust changes shape all the time!
How did you decide on a name for your website?
BraMeasurement.co.uk seemed to be an obvious name for a site about bra size measurement.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
We don't know a site that has this much information about measuring your bra size and explaining how to buy a bra that fits well. Plus we sell the Bra Measuring Tape.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To get every woman wearing comfortable well fitting bras that make them feel great.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
The site does not cover the time let alone the costs, but I love the subject.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I'd do more marketing to let more people know about it. I'd hire techy people to make the site look better and load really quickly.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
None so far .... touch wood.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Word of mouth - we believe that more than half of our users come to the site because it has been recommended to them.
How long have you run the site already and will you keep going?
BraMeasurement has been going for a year. There seems to be no reason to stop.
